Learning Church Music

"This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." -Neil Armstrong. For many people, learning the piano can seem like a big leap, but when they take the step to begin learning the piano, they find if is very enjoyable and rewarding. I have worked with many beginner students, and they have learned the basics of reading sheet music, learning the notes on the piano, and music theory; these steps have made many a beginner into a trained pianist.

Our private lessons are designed to help the student learn all the skills and technique necessary to playing the piano successfully. Students learn the basics of playing the piano, reading sheet music, learning expression and technique, as well as music theory. Each is a building block to a great musician and makes playing the piano more enjoyable.

In addition to classical training, I have performed on several church worship band teams; that has trained me how to play in a group setting as well as reading lead sheets and playing solos in ensembles. For those interested in learning how to play with a band or just learning church music, this a great place to start.
